La Transformación Digital de la atención sanitaria es imprescindible para hacer frente al continuo cambio que experimenta el ecosistema de la salud. Es indiscutible que las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación permiten mejorar el autocuidado de la salud, la calidad de la asistencia y optimizar la eficiencia del sistema. Estamos ante un fenómeno imparable que está transformando por completo el escenario de la salud.

La decimoquinta edición del Congreso Internacional sobre Eficiencia Energética y Sostenibilidad en Arquitectura y Urbanismo (EESAP 15) abordará el tema de la «Co-creación para un hábitat mejor». 

Cocreación es un término que no se recoge todavía en la RAE, sin embargo, la utilización del término ya ha adquirido máxima relevancia en diferentes ámbitos profesionales y se aplica desde hace tiempo para el desarrollo colaborativo de conceptos, soluciones, productos o servicios. 

Flat band materials offer a platform for enhancing correlation effects, rendering them an area of significant current interest. They present exceptional opportunities for exploring topology in correlated settings and correlation physics enriched by topology. Recent experiments on correlated kagome metals and moiré systems have unveiled evidence of peculiar behaviors, including strange-metal characteristics, charge density waves, nematic orders, and fractional Chern insulators within flat-band materials.

The Max Planck Institute for the Structure and Dynamics of Matter in Hamburg and the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz together with the Columbia University and the Center for Computational Quantum Physics at the Flatiron Institute have successfully launched a joint enterprise: the “Max Planck-New York City Center on Non-Equilibrium Quantum Phenomena”. The center was officially inaugurated by all four partner organizations on November 18, 2019 at Columbia University, USA.

El concepto de la ciudad de 15 minutos es una propuesta a escala humana sobre cómo se deben planificar las ciudades para mejorar la calidad de vida. El objetivo es proporcionar a la ciudadanía todos los servicios básicos necesarios en un itinerario de 15 minutos desde sus casas utilizando medios de transporte sostenibles, esto es, caminando o en bicicleta.

Advances in the understanding and control of the quantum properties of matter and in nanofabrication are laying the groundwork for revolutionary new technologies and information processing capabilities. Following the successful schools in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022, the summer school NanoQI'24 provides an introduction to the basics and recent advances in major areas of quantum information theory and solid-state-based quantum technologies. Both the physics of different implementations of quantum information technologies and the applicable theoretical methods are covered.

The 2DSPM has been consolidated in a biennial basis conference, celebrating in 2024 its third edition.

In 2D materials, essentially everything takes place on the surface and, consequently, SPM techniques have produced some of the most exciting works in these unique materials. We believe a focused 2DSPM conference will represent a very stimulating environment facilitating the easy flow of knowledge and ideas among participants. In this 2024 edition, we will have 23 invited speakers and additional participants who will contribute with short talks and posters.
