This workshop will bring together first-line researchers (senior and early-stage researchers) from all over the world who are experts in the field of origins of life, with a special focus on the emergence of the first systems (reaction networks, protocells,…) that could be called ‘metabolic’ or ‘proto-metabolic’.

Objetivos

Bring together the international community of researchers (senior and junior) of the origins-of-life field.

Promote the interdisciplinary research and the interactions among diverse actors required to advance in the most basic problems of the field, in particular in the emergence of the first physical/chemical systems that could be called (proto-) metabolic.

Put Donostia and the Basque Country at the center of attention of all this international community of experts and, more generally, of scientists interested in the problem.
