HIGA hizkuntza gutxituetako hiztun gazteentzako nazioarteko topaketa da, eta hizkuntza horiek biziberritzea eta mundu mailako hizkuntza komunitate ezberdinen arteko elkarlana sustatzea du helburu. Bost eguneko programa honetan, parte-hartzaileek aukera izango dute hizkuntza-biziberritzean eta -aktibismoan trebatzeko, beren esperientziak partekatzeko eta besteen errealitateetatik ikasteko.

Excitations play a crucial role in determining fundamental electronic and optical properties of a crystal, and can even give rise to states of matter without any equilibrium counterparts. At the single-layer limit, quantum confinement and enhanced interaction effects lead to exotic many-body phenomena. For example, single-layer semiconductors host tightly bound excitons with large binding energies that remain stable even at room temperature.

This workshop continues the series of workshops “Topology meets quantum optics 2021 (online)” and “Topological Photonics 2022 (San Sebastian, Spain) and Topological Photonics 2024 (Madrid, Spain). The 2025 meeting will bring together scientists exploring topics such as topological photonic crystals, topological metamaterials, non-Hermitian topology, topological light-matter interfaces, directional amplifiers, topological protection of non-classical states of light, as well as topological effects in other classical non-classical systems.

The field of quantum computing is on the brink of transformative advancements, driven by tangible progress in hardware development. As we enter the era of pre-fault-tolerant quantum devices, the potential for addressing complex quantum systems, once confined to theoretical realms, is becoming increasingly concrete. This conference aims to foster a collaborative environment where scientists from diverse backgrounds, including large-scale quantum experiments, classical approximation methods, and quantum algorithms, can come together to explore the implications of this hardware progress.
