La propuesta de esta edición se centra en el intercambio de reflexiones y experiencias sobre los desafíos y las oportunidades que presentan la recuperación del patrimonio histórico, tanto físico como inmaterial, con una mirada puesta en la sostenibilidad social y económica del entorno, y con perspectiva de género.

Climate change is often seen as a super wicked problem. Citizen participation can help to increase support for and legitimacy of policy decisions, and in this context citizens' assemblies can be a very appropriate tool to address highly complex problems such as climate change.

Nanophotonics of 2D materials (N2D) aims in gathering specialists in light-matter interactions in atomically thin materials, such as graphene, topological insulators, thin polar and semiconducting layers and other van der Waals materials, including their heterostructures. It provids a setting where researchers from diverse fields can convene, particularly from classical and quantum optics, material science and condensed matter physics.

The goal of the workshop is to explore novel directions in the field of exciton transport and associated exciton scattering phenomena in van der Waals 2D semiconductors.

We wish to bring together experts from experiment and theory, to encourage exchange of ideas and identify emerging questions for future research.

Photonics is gaining traction in the artificial intelligence area in close competition with mature technologies such as microelectronics and developing platforms such as memristive systems. On the one hand photons are viewed more and more as optimum information processing and transporting carriers for their versatility, speed and energy economy that make them apt for hardware implementations.
