Eva Ferreira, currently Rector of the UPV/EHU. She has been director of Unibasq (Agency for the evaluation of the quality of the Basque university system) and is Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Business of the UPV/EHU. She holds a degree in Mathematics and a PhD in Economics from the UPV/EHU and a Master's degree in Probability and Statistics from the Courant Institute at New York University. She has a consolidated and accredited research and teaching career with dozens of publications in journals of international impact. Ferreira has held responsibilities in the government of the university as Vice-rector and General Secretary.

Dr. Torres Camprubí is Adjunct Professor on International Climate Change Law at IE Law School and also lectures on International Litigation at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid since 2023. As a senior attorney specialized in public international law and international investment arbitration, she is admitted to the Madrid Bar (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid) since 2008 and to the Paris Bar (Barreau de Paris) as an EU lawyer since 2015. She exclusively represents sovereign States and State-owned entities, both in inter-State cases before the International Court of Justice and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (in border disputes and cases involving violations of international humanitarian law and human rights law), and in arbitration proceedings administered by the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes and the Permanent Court of Arbitration (in matters relating to the energy and aeronautical industries). She has acted as legal counsel in the advisory proceedings relating to climate change before ITLOS and the ICJ.
