Estrategias Financieras para ganar tamaño y competitividad: Fusiones, Financiación Innovadora y Gestión Profesionalizada en las PYMEs

La empresa vasca sigue avanzando en términos de dimensión, pero su tamaño medio sigue siendo pequeño. Es un tema recurrente pero no por ello resuelto. Las empresas vascas lideran rankings de innovación, internacionalización… pero su tamaño para competir en un mercado global preocupa.
Durante esta Jornada Profesional, se abordarán claves fundamentales para que, desde la función financiera, se contribuya a la Dirección General en la necesaria reflexión estratégica sobre el crecimiento y dimensión del negocio.
Se abordarán cuestiones relativas a Compras o Fusiones: cómo analizar las posibles sinergias financieras y operativas, evaluar los riesgos financieros asociados con una compra o fusión y desplegar estrategias de mitigación, así como la importancia de desarrollar comunicaciones claras y precisas sobre los beneficios financieros de la fusión para los stakeholders internos y externos.
Se presentarán además novedosas alternativas financieras que permitan desarrollar estrategias de financiación para minimizar el impacto en el flujo de efectivo y mejoren la capacidad de endeudamiento a la hora de acometer procesos de crecimiento empresarial.
Para impulsar un adecuado crecimiento será requerida, en todo caso, una gestión financiera efectiva y estratégica. Desde este enfoque, se abordará la implementación de sistemas y herramientas modernas que faciliten la gestión de datos y el reporting para respaldar las decisiones estratégicas que permitan ganar tamaño.
Objectives
Proponer alternativas, desde la perspectiva financiera, para apoyar a las empresas ante el reto del crecimiento. Para ello se darán a conocer, con un enfoque práctico, las últimas tendencias en cuanto a gestión financiera, oportunidades innovadoras en financiación y medidas para promover fusiones empresariales, pudiendo extraer conclusiones para una aplicación real en los negocios.

He is also Member in several Boards of private and public organizations linked to the field of competitiveness, innovation and sustainable development (Bilbao Stock Exchange, CEBEK, ALBOAN Foundation). PhD in Industrial Engineering, he develops his professional career in the private sector, always linked to strategy and promotion / management of new technology-based businesses, initially as a strategic consultant and then as an executive in global corporations in the sectors of energy and information technologies (Iberdrola, EDP, Accenture). In the last decade he has actively participated in the promotion of the Science and Technology System in Euskadi, as Executive Vice President of IK4 Technology Alliance and General Director of Technological Innovation of Innobasque.

CEO and shareholder of Bolueta Engineering Group, a group of SMEs that provide industrial machining, lifting and hydraulic supply services. The group is incorporated in 2016 with the acquisition of two companies and is subsequently expanded in 2019. Member of the Executive Commission of Innobasque, the Commission of the FVEM and the Investment Advisory Board of GIIC Fineco. In addition, he is a member of the PCTI 2030 Intelligent Industry Pilotage group, coordinating the work of the SMEs chapter. He was on the Board of Directors of Elkargi and directed Crecer +, a network of private investors focused on investing in start-ups, for 5 years, belonging to several Boards of Directors. She has been a professor at the U. de Deusto and other academic institutions until her investment in Bolueta Engineering. Lourdes worked for 15 years in investment banking mainly in London in the equity, mergers and acquisitions and risks departments for JP Morgan and became co-head for Europe of the Credit Suisse Asset Finance area. She has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto, an MBA from INSEAD, and a Master's degree from the University of Sussex (United Kingdom).
